How to read this dashboard

This tool runs a before / after budget impact analysis over a 5-year horizon. The "before" is the Status Quo treatment mix for HMB in the selected country; the "after" is the same population redistributed once you raise H-IUD uptake. Every KPI, table, and chart below shows the incremental difference between those two scenarios.

1. Eligible population — set country and HMB prevalence to size the market.
2. H-IUD share (main lever) — move the slider under "Market Shares After Intervention" to define the "after."
3. Cannibalization weights — decide whether new H-IUD users come from untreated, NS, or surgical patients.

Positive cost deltas = added spend; negative = savings. Positive clinical deltas (DALYs averted, HMB resolved, anemia avoided) = health gains. Monetary values are shown in LCU or in 2025 constant USD. LCU = Local Currency Unit.

DALY Attribution Analysis

Net population health gain from women transitioned to H-IUD from each baseline arm. Reflects a marginal change of (Dᵢ − D_H) DALYs per woman transitioned.

Clinical Outcomes (Population-Weighted)

Estimated population-level prevalence of HMB and Anemia, reflecting the net clinical impact of shifting treatment distributions across the cohort.

Total Cost by Arm (incl. Grand Total)

Each arm shows two stacked bars: Status Quo (grey) and Intervention (orange), split into Commodity (solid) and Non-Commodity (lighter shade).

Benefit-Cost Efficiency Frontier

Each colored dot represents a scenario where that single treatment covers 100% of the HMB population — its total 5-year cost vs. total 5-year DALYs averted (higher DALYs averted and lower cost are better; the shaded top-left region marks Efficient Allocation). The dashed line traces the non-dominated frontier (Untreated → H-IUD → Surgical); strategies off this line are dominated. The dark dot is the population average under the current coverage mix.
